A short list of things that SOCIALISTS dreamed up. Now keep in mind that most of these things were achieved (at least in the United States) prior to the Bolshevik Revolution or around the same time. Certainly before Stalin and certainly before Socialist became such a naughty word. I point this out because most of these achievements were accomplished either by the IWW (a world renowned socialst organization) or some other unionizing work force. All of these strides in workers’ rights were made to give the working man a chance in the world and to end child labor. Child labor, that atrocity that ran rampant under laissez-faire capitalism.
